Live Entertainment: Thank you to DJ Big Daddy Gonzo and Balloon Masters Entertainment
For those who Enjoyed Some Food: 30% of the food sales are to be given to the relief effort.
Here are your donations waiting on the tarmac to be loaded onto the plane that landed in Jacmel, Haiti.
Your contributions measured to be approximately 2,000 pounds of food, water and medical supplies.
The plane was loaded and took off at 2:00pm on January 21, 2010.
Christianville Foundation, Inc. located in Gressier, Haiti is so thankful for your generosity and is using these items to care for the immediate needs of the victims of the earthquake.
The stuff we collected for Teresa at Christianville made it and she was thrilled. The people who helped us get it to her was Danny and Leann Pye, who run an Orphanage in Jacmel called "Haitian Children's Home". Danny and Leann were a part of Community Christian Church in Tamarac, Florida before going to Haiti as missionaries. They are in charge of all the relief donations that come into Jacmel, making sure they get sent out to the locations who need them.
If are unable to attend the event and would like to make a cash donation, please visit the American Red Cross.
What a success! See pictures of the Help for Haiti Event.
